Audit DB 6.0 introduces AuditFlex: a unique architecture offering users the power of three auditing technologies – transaction log reading, network capture, and native auditing – in one complete solution. Functionality can be deployed individually or together to satisfy requirements as needs deepen and change. Management is simple: all audit sources are managed from a single console and results are consolidated into a single, secure enterprise repository for reporting and analysis. The result is the combination of deep database auditing with granular diagnostics (such as before and after values) for satisfying strict auditing and compliance requirements, plus real-time alerts – with one solution.

Audit DB is deployed around the world in some of the largest organizations with complex database environments tuned for performance. The solution uses an open, software-based technology to collect audit data – even from network sources – so you can leverage your existing investments in technology without needing to add and manage appliances that can quickly become out of date.
Security Policy Management with Rules-Based Auditing
Audit DB enables you to measure the effectiveness of corporate security policies, helping to identify which IT controls for data protection are working and which are not. This is achieved through “rules-based” auditing. Audited activity is compared against a set of rules that define policies; suspicious activity is flagged and sets off a violation within a policy. A set of standard policies reflecting industry best practices are provided and can be used as is or customized.
Powerful Alerts and Flexible, Detailed Reporting
Alerts label incidents according to criticality. They are color coded for easy reference and classified according to low, medium, high, and critical so you can address what’s most important, first.
Audit BD also includes a set of pre-defined reports that represent best practices for auditing; use them as is to enforce industry standards or customize them to meet your organization’s specific needs. Reports can be scheduled to generate on a regular basis and automatically distributed. They can also be run at a moment’s notice to support ad hoc requests. Dashboard-level and detailed views are available, along with the ability to quickly drill down to granular details.
